Sportizon, in collaboration with our digital agency Hincha, developed a digital campaign for St. Raphaël. In order to launch the new social strategy and position it as “l’apéro du vélo”
Reflecting the rich history of St. Raphaël in cycling (think of Jacques Anquetil winning the Tour de France in 1962, 1963 and 1964 for example), the objective was to lean on the heritage and develop a brand new campaign linking the key moments of the 2020 road cycling calendar to the vintage art style of St. Raphaël developed in the 1930’s.
Next to the ten “Étapes de St Raphaël” covering the major races such as the Giro, the World Championship, the Ronde and the Tour de France. Sportizon and Hincha launched some retro St. Raphaël cycling content. These “Histoires de St. Raphaël” provided the followers with fun facts about St. Raphaël’s cycling history, featuring Jacques Anquetil, Jean Stablinski and many more. All to get deeper into the large heritage of cycling with a touch of 2020!
